Before you post abandonware here, make sure that the software is legal. Make sure no copyright holders have rights to anything used in the game. Alternatively, if they do, it is still aplicable to be posted here if the copyright holder has released the software freely. Examples include Tyrian 2000 and ZZT. Non examples include the original Prince of Persia games.

What is Abandonware?
Abandonware is software that is no longer supported by the developer or publisher, and is no longer sold for money. This software is usually old, for outdated operating systems or computers. Not only is Abandonware entertaining, but it holds great historical value.
